10 / 11 (event) Scheduled Banner Outage - Saturday 10/11 Start: 9:30 am End: 9:00 pm The Banner system will be unavailable on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 9:30am until 9:00pm in order to apply upgrades and patches. The upgrades and patches include some enhancements, several regulatory updates, and minor fixes. Additional functionality in the Financial Aid Self Service module includes the ability for a student to print an award letter and view more detailed award information. During the outage, Banner Self Service and Internet Native Banner (INB ) will be unavailable. more info

10 / 14 (event) UCIT Server Outages during UPS Test Tuesday, October 14th Start: 7:00 am End: 7:45 am UCIT staff will be testing the newly installed UPS unit on Tuesday, October 14th between 7:00am and 7:30am. During this time there may be intermittent outages of ALL UCIT services as servers are power cycled by the UPS. Affected services include: Production SUAR web sites Test SUAR web sites Equitrac Room Viewer KeyKeeper Campus Events Database RecTrac SUAR Backup system SMP file and applications Xerox Page Pack print tracking software more info

10 / 22 (event) October Microsoft Security Updates Installation Wednesday, October 22nd Start: 7:00 am End: 11:59 pm ITS will be installing the October MS Office Security Updates during login for campus beginning Wednesday, October 22nd. The install time is approximately 5 minutes. The install icon (Oct 08 MS Office 2003 or Updt MS Office 2007 Oct 08) displays on NAL in the My-Campus > Updates-Installs > Microsoft Folder should you wish to install early. This install includes the critical security update KB955470 for Excel and Junk Email Filter KB957257. more info
