UCIT staff will be testing the newly installed UPS unit on Tuesday, October 14th between 7:00am and 7:30am. During this time there may be intermittent outages of ALL UCIT services as servers are power cycled by the UPS. Affected services include: Production SUAR web sites Sunday, October 19, 2008

ITS will be installing the October MS Office Security Updates during login for campus beginning Wednesday, October 22nd. The install time is approximately 5 minutes. The install icon (Oct 08 MS Office 2003 or Updt MS Office 2007 Oct 08) displays on NAL in the My-Campus > Updates-Installs > Microsoft Folder should you wish to install early. This install includes the critical security update KB955470 for Excel and Junk Email Filter KB957257. Wednesday, November 5, 2008

UCIT Staff will be performing security updates on all UCIT-managed servers on Wednesday, November 5th between 9 and 11pm. Please refer to the list below for details on affected services. Additionally, staff will be performing additional UPS testing on Thursday, November 6th between 6:30 and 7:30am.
