In this episode, Mark discusses the roles of local IT staff and central IT (ITS) staff at UNC Charlotte. While some think that departmental local IT staff should be eliminated or merged into ITS staff, Mark contends local and central IT have their own unique fit. He further discusses how increased collaboration between ITS and departmental IT staff can provide the best IT support for our campus.
