Microsoft March 09 Security Updates

System Alerts | UCIT Web Group From Charlotte Simpson Desktop Support Analyst for IT Services at UNC Charlotte Please read carefully. All: Microsoft Critical Security Patch MS09-006 (Vulnerabilities in Windows Kernel Could Allow Remote Code Execution (958690)) and important patch MS09-007 (Vulnerability in SChannel Could Allow Spoofing (960225)) will install during login for the Local Admin Group tomorrow (except for Local Admins in ITS). These updates will install for the rest of campus Friday. ITS machines will be updated via BigFix. The install icon(XP SP3 Security Patch 03-09) displays on NAL in the My-Campus > Updates-Installs > Window Security Updates Folder.
