Power Outage to Campus Computer Room


Info on data center outage from ITS:

The majority of systems and applications are now available.  A few systems are still impacted including PWManager, Citrix, Quarantined Email Service, and 49er Connect.

At approximately 6pm on March 18th, a fire started in the room that provides
power to the main campus computer room. The power outage caused all systems
and services to be inaccessible.

At approximately 1am, power was transferred to a generator system. ITS is checking systems and working to restore services as quickly as possible.

Campus Network Outage - Saturday, March 14th 2009

In order to install new networking hardware in the campus computer room, network services must be taken offline on Saturday, Mar. 14, 2009, beginning at 6am. All services and applications (excluding phone service) will be unavailable from 6:00am until approximately 9:00am.

February 2009 Monthly Report



Monthly SUAR-IT Server Maintenance Wednesday, March 4th thru Thursday, March 5th


SUAR IT staff will be installing monthly security updates for all SUAR IT-managed servers Wednesday, March 4th through Thursday March 5th. Please refer to the list below for details on affected services and their outage periods. During these maintenance periods there may be intermittent outages of all servers and their hosted services. Feel free to contact a SUAR IT staff member should you have any questions or concerns.
