Email Outage on Friday Oct 16


Information & Technology Services will be performing maintenance on one of the servers that hosts Faculty and Staff email accounts on Friday evening, Oct. 16, 2009. If your account is housed on the affected server, you will not be able to access your email during the outage.  If you send mail to someone whose account is on the affected server, they will not be able to login to retrieve their email until after the outage ends.  The email outage will begin at 6:00pm and will continue until approximately midnight.

Intermittent Email Outages


On Friday evening, June 26, 2009, Information & Technology Services will be performing maintenance on one of the servers that hosts Faculty and Staff email accounts.  Between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, there may be brief intermittent email outages.

Cone Network Outage Friday, May 15


ITS Networking needs to install a network device in Cone Center. The outage will be from 7-7:30AM Friday, May 15.

Campus Computer Room Outage for UPS Repair Friday 4/17 - Sunday 4/19


ITS in conjunction with Facilities Management will be installing a new UPS unit for the Campus Computer Room beginning at 6:00pm on Friday, April 17th and lasting through 8:00pm on Sunday, April 19th.  During this time, all central ITS services including Banner, R25, email, Novell access, Remote Access, Citrix, websites residing on ITS servers including the homepage, etc. will be unavailable.


Office 2003 Security Updates for April 2009


 
The Microsoft Office 2003 Security Update for April 09 is ready to be installed.  The install icon (Updts MS Office 2003 Apr 09) displays on NAL in the My-Campus > Updates-Installs > Microsoft Folder if the machines meets the system requirements.  This update applies Excel 2003 MS09-009 (KB959995).  This update is rated important for Excel 2003.  The install time is approximately 5 minutes.
I will display a notice to campus tomorrow and the update will install during login Thursday.
