UCIT Support Images Issue


Some of you experienced some issues submitting tickets on https://ucitsupport.uncc.edu today. The problem resulted from an update to our production web server which overwrote some of our custom web scripting engines.

Good news is all has been resolved and you can submit tickets.

Dev/Test server issues


The software updates performed Friday night on our OSX Servers resulted in corrupt files on one of our test/dev servers. I have recompiled the software and the server is functioning again.

Sites impacted:

ucitprojects.uncc.edu
studentunionprojects.uncc.edu
Various test sites

Exchange Issues (05-15-2008)


 UPDATE: ITS reported that Exchange is operating normally now. Please let us know if you are still experiencing email issues.

 

Some clients are reporting issues connecting to Exchange/email services. ITS is working on it.

Off campus access to unccmail.uncc.edu (webmail)


Update: ITS Reported that one of our Exchange servers was the problem during the weekend. Exchange should be ok now. Please contact SUAR IT Support if you are still having issues.

 

SUAR IT Staff noticed that off campus access to unccmail.uncc.edu and some other ITS sites like www.its.uncc.edu are spotty as of Saturday night (5-3-2008). We have contacted ITS about the issue. It is our guess that this is related to DNS issues as some users can access the sites and others cannot.


cone01nt reboot


I will be rebooting cone01nt server tonight (4-9-2008) at 9PM EST. If you have concerns or questions, please contact UCIT Support.

KeyKeeper
SQLServer

The server reboot will take about 5 minutes.
